Overton charges to Fall Classic top-10 at Whynot

Brandon Overton took his Riggs Motorsports Longhorn Factory Team into battle in Mississippi over the weekend as Whynot Motorsports Park hosted the eighth annual Coors Light Fall Classic.

Friday’s program featured a pair of preliminary features, where Overton won his heat race and led the opening four laps of his prelim before settling for a runner-up finish.

On Saturday, Overton faced a tougher start but rallied through the B-Main to earn a spot in the $20,000-to-win A-Main. He followed up his consolation victory with an impressive 18th-to-7th charge in the 60-lap Coors Light Fall Classic finale.
