Top-10 with Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Port Royal Speedway
An eastern swing with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) brought Brandon Overton and the Riggs Motorsports Longhorn Factory Team to Port Royal Speedway this past weekend for the annual Rumble by the River.
Friday’s preliminary featured Overton following a third-place finish in his heat with an 11th-place outing in the opener.
On Saturday, Overton cracked the top 10 in the $50,000-to-win finale, steering a steady ninth-place finish in the 50-lap feature.
He remains seventh in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
