For another $25,000-to-win A-Main on Thursday, Brandon topped the 50-car field in time trials before placing first in his heat. Holding his spot for all 30 laps of the feature, Overton raced to a second-place finish, which came behind Kyle Larson with Chris Madden rounding out the podium.
After Mother Nature won Friday’s program, Overton returned on Saturday for the $50,000-to-win Colossal 100 finale. With a heat race victory placing him on the third row for the main event, Brandon gained two spots in the 50-lapper to finish fourth. He trailed Chris Madden, Jonathan Davenport, and Chris Ferguson to the checkers with Max Blair coming in fifth.
