Podium finish in 2025 Riggs Motorsports debut at Golden Isles Speedway
Brandon Overton’s 2025 debut with the Riggs Motorsports team kicked off on Friday afternoon with the Super Bowl of Racing at Golden Isles Speedway (Brunswick, Ga.).
Against 43 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries, Overton advanced into the $12,000-to-win opener with a fifth-to-second run in his heat race. Lined up fifth, Brandon climbed two positions in the 50-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He joined race-winner Tyler Bruening and runner-up Jonathan Davenport on the podium.
Inclement weather and an unfavorable forecast forced track and series officials to cancel the final two rounds of the Super Bowl of Racing on Saturday and Sunday.
